Our client, a well-established Institute of Pathology near Düsseldorf, is seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Institute (m/f/d) to lead their team. This institute covers the full spectrum of pathology cases, with a strong focus on gastrointestinal (GI), urological, and gynecological pathology. Equipped with state-of-the-art digital pathology, the institute is committed to innovation and excellence in diagnostics and patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic and operational leadership to the institute

• Oversee and further develop diagnostic services in GI, uro, and gynecological pathology

• Ensure the highest standards in pathological diagnostics, quality control, and patient care

• Drive digital pathology initiatives and foster innovation in the field

• Lead and mentor a team of experienced pathologists and laboratory professionals

• Maintain strong collaboration with referring physicians, hospitals, and external partners

• Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements

Your Profile:

• Board-certified pathologist with significant experience in GI, uro, and gynecological pathology

• Proven leadership experience in a pathology institute or department

• Strong interest in digital pathology and its applications in diagnostics

• Excellent communication and team leadership skills

• Fluency in German (mandatory)

• Entrepreneurial mindset with a strategic vision for the future of pathology
