Senior Director, Automation Engineering
We are seeking an experienced Senior Director of Automation Engineering to join a cutting-edge biotechnology organization, overseeing the development and execution of the automation strategy for a new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. In this leadership role, you will be responsible for building and leading the automation engineering team, ensuring successful project delivery, and maintaining GMP compliance across multiple modalities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement the automation engineering strategy to support the facility’s operational goals.
- Lead the automation team, ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and operational excellence.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide feedback on automation design and commissioning strategies.
- Manage complex automation projects from concept through to completion.
- Ensure compliance with corporate standards and GMP regulations.
- Foster strong relationships across departments to drive success.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (or equivalent).
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in automation engineering within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Expertise with one or more automation platforms.
- Proven track record of leading teams and delivering projects on time and within budget.
